Set by Google and Meta (Facebook) so we can tell whether our advertising actually brings people to this site, and so we can avoid showing you the same advertisement repeatedly.

• Used only on our public marketing pages: the home page, the fee comparison and calculators, the appraisal request form and its confirmation page, and our general information pages
• Deliberately not used on property listing pages, because a listing page address identifies a particular property, and that is not something we pass to an advertising platform
• Never set for signed-in users

If you decline this category, no advertising cookie is set and neither Google nor Meta is told about your visit.

We use two third-party services that set their own cookies:

• Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics): measures which advertisements lead to enquiries, and how the site is used
• Meta Platforms (the Facebook pixel): measures which advertisements lead to enquiries, on our public marketing pages only

Both are controlled by the Analytics and Advertising categories above, and by your choices in Cookie Preferences. Neither is loaded for signed-in users. Each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the information it receives.

We may also use third-party services for payment processing and map display, which set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies.

• Persistent cookies: Remain until expiry or deletion
• Functional cookies: Up to 12 months
• Analytics cookies: Up to 24 months
• Advertising cookies: Up to 90 days

Our Cookie Preferences

Declining analytics or advertising cookies does not affect how the site works. You can browse, use the calculators and request an appraisal exactly as normal. It only means we lose the ability to see how the site is used, and whether our advertising is working.

When we develop our mobile app later in 2026, similar tracking technologies may be used.
